Immigration Paralegal

As an immigration paralegal, my job is to solve client problems as quickly and efficiently as possible. Immigration law is complex, and it is my job to catch any issues or uncertainties. It is important to me that no detail is overlooked. While I am well versed in all immigration cases, I specialize in Consular immigrant visas, waivers of inadmissibility, U-Visas, domestic violence cases, as well as removal cases.

Favorite Part of the Job:

I love doing a job that I truly believe in. I highly enjoy helping others find their way through the complex immigration process to create better opportunities for themselves. I know that solving problems on a day-to-day basis affords our clients a chance to develop a better life for themselves.

Advice to Clients:

Put in what you’d like to get out of the case. All immigration cases require the full involvement of the attorney, paralegal, and client to successfully complete. Without the client’s full participation, we cannot represent you fully. Help us to be the best law firm for you by being honest, communicative, and attentive.

Charity:

Mil Mujeres is a non-profit organization that provides direct legal services to low-income Spanish-Speaking survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault. Many women in the Latino community suffer from these offenses, but due to language barriers, physical isolation, lack of support, and lack of legal education, they do not contact law enforcement. I am proud to contribute to this organization so that they continue help women all over the United States.

Interesting Facts:

  • I enjoy trying new foods from exotic locations.

  • I ride a moped, which is a pedaled scooter.
  • I am of Norwegian decent and speak fluent Spanish.
